A-glaze Hellas is the main distributor of A-glaze products in Greece. It is a family business, founded and run by Ioannis Kyvernitis and Dorothy Pyrpili. Our main goal is to provide with hi level quality products in the Greek yachtsmen and yacht industry combined with hi level services.
We have been working in the yacht industry for more than a decade, mainly in the charter market, gaining valuable experience regarding the caring of yachts, sailing or motor. Our technical knowledge comes as a result of our work experience but also from studies abroad at the Institut Nautique de Bretagne at France. Some of the fields that we have been trained include polishing of hulls, repairs on gel coat, treating GRP materials and overall technical supervision of yachts among others. Throughout our charter experience we swiftly understood what all yachts need in order to stay at the best shape possible, especially in a very competitive environment like the charter industry.

Without question the biggest problem facing the marine industry is the combination of salt and ultra-violet damage causing colour fading and a ‘chalking’ effect on the GRP and painted surfaces. Over a longer periods of time not only does this require constant maintenance but it also causes irreparable surface damage due to porous, over-exposed areas. Many of the alternate remedies do help reduce the ‘chalking’ but do not remedy the problem which is where our AGlaze 4.4 Marine treatment comes into effect. If applied regularly it will protect rom the UV rays and salt which causes the chalking effect, leaving your boat in pristine condition. If you have to cut your craft back to remove the chalking, simply apply AGlaze sealant and you will notice that the surface remains in perfect condition as when applied.

All of he top manufacturers in the boating industry and currently looking to promote our products and are encouraging their customers to follow a regular maintenance programme using the A-Glaze application to ensure their investments stay in great condition. For some time Sunseeker have been endorsing AGlaze Surface Sealant for use on all their boats and Fairline are just completing testing but have already approved our products on their Gel coats. During the last London boat show Fairline had actually treated all their boats with AGlaze Surface Sealant. Blue hulled boats are notoriously difficult to keep in good condition but recently luxury boat manufacturer Aqua Star whom are renowned for their blue hulls and started endorsing our products to all their customers for a great lifelong finish.
