With our large range of sealants and cleaners, we have revolutionised the marine industry with our AGlaze range. We offer a full guarantee on our whole product range, ensuring that sailors are able to spend more time enjoying their boats rather than cleaning and polishing.

Degradation – atmospheric pollution, bird lime, ultra violet light and acid rain – is a common problem on painted and GRP surfaces, but our AGlaze Marine Surface Sealant is a silicon-free fluoro-polymer resin providing protection from this. As an easy and foolproof solution, it bonds to the paint surfact creating a protective coating, which is flexible enough to withstand 9” in-flight expansion and contraction of Concorde.

A common problem many boat owners suffer is from swirl marks which are due to fender rubbing as well as continuous polishing.

These photos shows the before and after effects of AGlaze.

Following the AGlaze treatment, the swirl marks have gone and a gloss has been reinstated to last a minimum of 12 months, and requiring a lot less maintenance than with other products. A quick hose down, and using our Wash and Shine Shampoo, after each journey will ensure that fender rubbing is kept to a minimum. See customer comments on Targa 50.

‘Black streaking’ can be a maintenance nightmare requiring hours of continual polishing. Our AGlaze Marine Sealant reduces this, and, although it won’t stop these marks from appearing, it will lift the marks that are already there and will not stain the surface.

This product has revolutionised the boating world for marine enthusiats, giving them more time to enjoy cruising and sailing rather than hours of maintenance.

AGlaze is used worldwide by Boat Manufacturers, DIY boaters, rib owners as well as interior valeting companies.

Our AGlaze Marine Range offers a full valeting product range from a GRP gelcoat to vinyl or leather seating, windscreens, fabric coverings and carpets and is now sold worldwide through Creative Resins appointed agents, mail order, chater companies, chandleries, boat manufacturer or direct to the individual boat owners.

With the cost of fuel escalating Worldwide, boat owners are looking to keep their craft in top quality condition. Our products can ensure that even tired looking boats can return to their former shiny days.

Many boat owners are under the illusion that a quick wax or polish will restore their boats shine back, and to some extent that is correct. However, many waxes fail to offer the GRP or painted surfaces any protection from UV rays, which cause the surface to colour fade or crack. Over time, the surface, if left properly treated, will be beyond repair and no amount of waxing or polishing will bring back the shine.

Unlike a car, boats cannot be stored out of the sun. As wax is applied to a car bonnet, as the engine heats up, the wax melts within hours, meaning the protection applied has all but disappeared. The same can be said for boats, but as storage is impossible, the damage the sun can cause can be irreversible.

Our Marine AGlaze can be applied to any size of boat, as well as all types of marine craft ranging from motor boats, jet skis, dinghies, yachts, cruisers to international cruise boats, ferries, super yachts, naval craft or lifeboats. No area or craft is too big or too small.

Marine AGlaze is available as a professional application in most areas of the world or as a DIY application.

We are proud to have a first class reputation with our products tried and tested in the rail, aviation and motor industries, putting other cleaners and polishes to shame. We’re thrilled that we can put our names to brands such as Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Qantas and Virgin (applies by Qantas in Australia) as well as many car dealerships including Landrover, Bentley and BMW to name a few.

In 2007, we launched our AGlaze Surface Sealant which, when applied to your vessel, can help keep it clean even when you are not using it. Its acts as a rain deterrent, so when rain, or water hits the boat, the polymer resins in the Active Formula, hold onto the water, causing it to bead and roll down, taking any grime or surface dirt with it.

In 2010 we added a new Glaze formulation to our product range which works on areas areas most vulnerable to the elements. The MP Glaze provides added protection and can be used with the Paint/GRP Glaze.

AGlaze Application

Firstly wash your vessel with our Wash N Shine Shampoo, which has been formulated to ‘float off’ dirt and grime to leave a just waxed finish.

After washing, the AGlaze Surface Preparation needs to be applied, which is a non silicon based fine duty polishing compound and cleaner. This acts as a primer on the paintwork before final waxing, ensuring that all dirt is removed and can be applied by hand or buffer.

Finally, and sparingly, the AGlaze Marine Sealant is applied, which bites into the surface of the GRP or paint finish to a depth of 5/7 microns and creates a surface shield. This will avoid any form of pollutant from penetrating the sealed surface, thus giving the base material total protection from acid rain, snow, salt, industrial fallout, oxidisation and colour fading but most of all the sun’s ultra violet rays. To ensure this protective shield lasts, two coats of glaze need to be applied. The AGlaze system is not a polish or a wax but actually bonds to the surface and creates a brilliant, high gloss protective barrier leaving dirt and pollutants resting on the glazed surface. A quick wash will maintain the treated surface leaving it looking pristine.
